The structure
You may have already noticed that there aren't thumbnails on this site. This was a careful thought design decision that I agree may not please every one of my visitors. The reason is simple though; I want it to be experienced as a book. So my portfolio will be divided into small books - or chapters if you prefer - and each one of them will show a different face of my work. They can also come into life as a group of pictures linked by the same character or atmosphere. Each portfolio chapter will be constituted of 20 photos, so I can guarantee you that once a chapter is available in the site it will remain unchanged, like in a printed book. If you want to recall a chosen photo I kindly ask you to go to the desired chapter and browse for it one at a time. This will give you the change to leaf through the book again. :) The navigation To access the main area - the portfolio - you have a vertical tab close to the top left corner. Once you click on it the list of chapters will appear and you can choose which one you want to see. Since there aren't any thumbnails, you will have to browse the 20 photos one at a time, using the + and - light blue image links that become available when you move your mouse over the photo or use the access keys - check your browser documentation to see how to use them - 'P' for previous photo and 'N' for next photo. On the first page, a title photo will be shown and in the caption line the current photo number and the total 20 will be displayed. From here you can access number 1 using the next link or number 20 using the previous link. This functionality is available in any photo. To go back to the chapter list just use the tab link 'portfolio' again. Nothing simpler!
